NSW Real Tennis Open!

Come and see Australia’s finest real tennis players compete in the NSW Open which is taking place at Cheltenham between 15 - 17 August. Competitors are coming from all over Australia to compete in the NSW Open, which is being held for the first time after a 20 year hiatus. The last winner of the trophy was Toby Dolman.

All visitors are welcome and entry to the event is free! The Bar and Cafe are open all day on Friday and Saturday and snacks and soft drinks will be available all weekend in the lower lounge of the real tennis court. And there will be plenty of people on hand to help to explain what’s going on to the uninitiated.

Matches kick off on Friday at 12pm and culminate with the Men’s final at 4pm on Sunday, so why not bring the family and come and take a look.

SCHEDULE:

Friday 15 August: 12pm to 9pm

Saturday 16 August: 9am to 9pm

Sunday 17 August: 8am to 4pm

The presentation ceremony will take place after the Men’s Final and will be followed by an Alumni event for members of the Macquarie University Real Tennis Club. Our guest of honour for the day is none other than Rob Bartlett, former MURTC Head Professional.
